According to some legends the entrance to Faeria, the faries world, can be found walking between two trees that grew up together.

Those past weeks I've been a bit nostalgic, so, with my sister, I started a long trip in the past. That basically means we started to watch again an anime series of my childhood.

The Japanese name is Uchū Kaizoku Kyaputen Hārokku in Italy, it was known as Capitan Harlock, I really don't know if it had different names elsewhere, but it was - no doubt about this - the best anime series ever!

As a child, I was obviously in love with Harlock and maybe that's the reason why I always remembered with simpathy Met: the alien who lived with the crew on board of Arkadia (or Alkadia or whatever the ship was named in other languages).

Battlefield

It seems that today is Ragnarök: according the Norse mythology the world will end today in the final battle between gods.

So that should be the perfect day to share a picture of a battlefield painted with crayons and digital colours.

I don't have an explanation for this one, just I drawed it with pencil and ink an panted in digital colours.

The sock-eater-monster goes hunting

Did you ever wonder where the hell is that sock you are sure you put in the washing machine with its twin brother? 

Why one sock -just one- of the pair goes missed every time you make your laundry?
That, my friends, is the answer: there is a terrible creature, a frightful monster who goes hunting in your washing machine.

Knock knock

A very quick sketch: a pirate knocking on a door in the hold of his ship.
I basically was in mood for drawing pirates and that, I am afraid, is the only reason behind this picture.

What if you're not so happy with an old illustration?

A good idea could be to paint it again on the old base.

I took this very old black and white picture (I made it something like 7 years ago) and painted it and that's the result.

Sometimes my Italian legacy comes out, today it's one of those occasion.

Here there is a Roman soldier, painted in digital colours and drawed with pencil and ink.

I guess he doesn't look like a very smart guy but he is strong and it seems he is a bit upset, so don't mess with him!

This one's born by herself from my pencil while I was just doodling.

I drawed it with a biro and then coloured it with digital paint using the mouse.

The colours I choose make me think to an illustration for kids or teenagers.
