A very quick sketch done for a friend during a hard work night.
The woman in the portrait is Marika, she is a wonderful friend, a very good illustrator (you can see here her artworks) and well... a pirate! She has been my inspiration for my original chatacter Marie too.

Howdy rabble!
Today is the Talk Like a Pirate Day! It's time to celebrate and get drunk! I had no time for a brand new illustration this year, so I have to repost an old one, hoping I'll do better the next time!

So happy talk like a pirate day everybody and remember: "To err is human, to arr is pirate!"

Knock knock

A very quick sketch: a pirate knocking on a door in the hold of his ship.
I basically was in mood for drawing pirates and that, I am afraid, is the only reason behind this picture.

I drawed it with pencil and biro and painted it with digital colours.
