A poster for Amon Amarth

Here I am again, just a quick appearence to tell you I'm still alive and to share with you a new illustration.
This is for a contest: the theme was like "design a poster for Amon Amarth" that is one of my favourite metal band (check them if you don't know them).

Ink-lineart is made by Sara as usual.

Viking

This month I was challenged to draw a viking.

So here there is my entry for the character design challenge on facebook: a man with some problems in dress codes, it's not his bad anyway: weather is becoming every day crazier.

Some days ago, it was the b.day of a very good musiscian whose name is Yossi Sassi.

Since I'm a big fan of him, I decided to make him a little b.day present, so I did a little fan art. He apreciated it so much he shared it on his facebook page makig me a very happy fan, so you can see it here or in his twitter account

what am I doing?

Yep, I know, I sort of disappeared lately... as usual.

I'm sorry, it's just I'm working on some project proposals and I have no free time and I can't focus enought to complete my usual random illustrations.

Next week I'll share some pages I'm working on, in the manwhile, all I can show is a unfinished illustration I started some week ago, just to make some exercise with digital colour.

I promise I'll finish it sooner or later, but in the meanwhile here it is!

I know, I know: it's being a while I don't write here, but I am a bit in a period of crisis, so I'm not so much in the mood for update the blog, I'm sorry.

But today is Christmas and here in Europe the horrible Christmas sweater trend is spreading and who am I to fight against this?

So, that's the way I'll send to you all my best wishes for this holiday season, I am sharing with you a little illustration about Christmas sweaters and a character made by me and Sara. 

Please let me introduce you Sébastien, a poor guy who is dealing with is first homemade horrible Christmas sweater - and that is terribly unfair considering the poor guy lives in the hot and sunny Toamasina, Madagascar.

As I stare at the Ocean

I am in a bit of a confusion lately: I would like to try to make a graphic novel version of a book, but I can't choose the book: too many good plots in literature.

So, while I am trying to tidy up my mind, I share with you  the first part of the first page of a project I will not finish. But I am happy all the same: I have been able to paint water that is quite of a challenge to me.

Medusa's bad hair day

This month theme for the Character Design Challenge on Facebook is "Olympian Gods", and, yes, I know Medusa is not a god, but, at the moment, it's the only idea that came up in my brain. So I made the illustration even if I can't apply with it.
